People from everywhere are taking advantage of how easy it is to shop on the internet for the things they need.  Why not get some free stuff too?  There are thousands of free items on the internet every day.  While some may prove to be a scam and not worth looking into there are legitimate sites that offer free things to those who do their research.  Here is a look at finding free stuff on the internet.

First look at what it is you are wanting to get for free.  If it is something you use every day like makeup or some type of household product you can try looking at the company’s website and see if they are offering any free samples or coupons to try their products for free.  If you cannot find these products on this way you can also try typing in the words “free” and whatever it is you are looking into yo for to see what comes up

Get Great Deals by Email

If you’re looking for great deal on the internet, start by contacting your favorite stores both online and offline. Many stores will use internet marketing and email lists to keep their customers coming back. They do this by sending exclusive specials to people that they know are already interested in their products. There are a few simple things you can do to get into this special circle of deals, then just sit back and let the specials come to you!
Start by keeping your ears open for opportunities. When you check out at a store int person they will often request your email address for their mailing list. Giving them your address gives them permission to send you emails notifying you of upcoming sales, new products or discounts you can receive. Be aware that they may also give your information away to third party sites which will also send you emails. You can avoid this by simply clarifying that you would like your information kept private.
Many stores who ask for your email address, such as large bookstores or electronic stores, will send you special discounts and coupons that you can only receive online. These coupons may be valid in the store, online or both. Read the fine print because they may expire quickly.
Another way to get onto exclusive email lists is to sign up through a store’s website. When you order products online, the site will often require that you register and create an account with their site. They will then send you promotional emails, unless you specify that you would not like to receive them. These emails may notify you of great deals on the site or even offer special discounts such as free or reduced shipping.
All of these email lists offer you the option to unsubscribe when you are no longer interested. Simply click the link at the bottom of the email and confirm that you are no longer interested.

The Rainy Day Amusement: Indoor Activities and the Free Ringtone

Bohol Beach Club

There has been one dream to define your days, one hope to cling to: you wished forever to seek the sand and summer breezes, to devote your time to the wilds of Bohol. And so you have decided finally to abandon all duties — the city madness was never meant to contain you, after all. You were instead to be hidden among paradise. The stone streets are soon left behind. The shrieks of strangers are denied. You hurry toward the endless miles, determined to explore them.

Such exploration becomes impossible, however, when your arrival is marked with a monsoon. Bohol — for all of its beauty, its untamed charm — suffers from rain drenched seasons. And your first days will be spent indoors, watching helpless from the window. This is not the perfection you assumed it to be. This is instead a tedium.

It doesn’t have to be.

You can still entertain yourself, finding ways to fill the time. While discovering the secrets of the island may be impossible, you can indulge in other activities (each necessary in battling boredom):

One: Research. While you have consumed all truths of beaches, you have neglected the cultural necessities. There are countless heritage sites, preserves and monuments to seek. Learn what awaits you when the season changes.

Two: Master culture. Never assume your city ways will translate into island success. Instead, study the influences of Bohol, taking care to understand all languages and religion.

Three: Find reminders. Your home is to be among the reefs and wave crashes. Your memories, however, remain still far beyond. Use the online world to purchase reminders of your past — such as films, books or even a free ringtone of a favored song.

The decision to seek Bohol was a wise one (despite the dreaded rain). You must simply wait for the sun to return — and amuse yourself instead with studying.

VoIP Makes Phone Calling Free and Easy

Looking for ways to connect with long-distance family members, friends and loved ones online? Looking for ways to save money too? Voice over Internet Protocol, or simply VoIP, is a great method of keeping in touch with people without spending extra money on long-distance phone call charges.

Using a standard Internet connection, Voice over Internet Protocol can become a way to make free phone calls. By using some free VoIP software, a user can place online phone calls without going through an actual phone company (and avoiding all its fees).

There are three different types of VoIP that are commonly used today. One way is by making use of an ATA, or analog telephone adaptor. This device is an analog to digital converter and allows you to connect a phone to your computer and Internet connection. Rather than plug your phone’s cable into a phone jack or wall socket, plug the appropriate cable to the ATA. Some analog telephone adapters may require additional software to be installed onto your computer, but the process is pretty straightforward.

Another way to access Voice over Internet Protocol is by using an IP phone. These devices look just like a “regular” phone–complete with a handset, cradle and buttons. However, unlike standard phone connectors, IP phones have a special Ethernet connector. An IP phone connectors directly to the router and should have all hardware and software readily available. Similarly, Wi-Fi phones allow for callers to make any VoIP calls from a wireless hot spot.

And lastly, Voice over Internet Protocol can be placed from computer-to-computer. This is perhaps the easiest way to call someone over the Internet and paying for calls is virtually free. Several VoIP companies offer free or low-cost software that is installed on your computer. If you have a sound card, a microphone and a set of speakers, people can make calls to each other through the Internet. With the exception of Internet Service Provider (ISP) fees, making calls computer-to-computer is free–regardless of domestic or international distance.
