One way to find out if it is right for you is to see if you can get a free sample.  There are many free samples offered on a number of different things from diapers, baby wipes, shampoo to food items such as granola bars.  Here is a look at how to find free samples online.

The first way to go about finding free samples of things online is to look at the company’s website.  Many consumers have found by just browsing through a company’s website they may come across a place where they can register to get a free sample of their product or even get a printable coupon to take to the store so they are able to try the product for free.  This happens a lot with products that are fairly new or older products for which the company wants to generate more business.  To get the free sample in the mail you usually have to put in your address and you then get it within a few weeks.

With most people around the world surfing the internet throughout the day, many internet contests have popped up offering everything from free samples to huge rewards such as large sums of money or cars.  While many of these contests are harmless and safe to enter, there are some things you should avoid when it comes to internet contests.  Here are some helpful tips to keep you safe.

One of the biggest things to avoid when you are considering entering an internet contest is any contest that requires you pay money up front.  Even if it seems like a small amount, it is better to move on to a free contest.  Internet contests that require money to enter are usually scams.  Money is lost and in some cases sensitive material such as bank information is misused.

When you enter an internet contest you will also want to read through the directions and all the disclosures very carefully.  Usually you will have to enter in information such as your email address or even your home number.  If you feel apprehensive about entering in any of this information you may want to research the contest you are wanting to enter and see what others have  to say about taking their contest.

Another tip for staying safe is to stay discreet.  If the contest requires a phone number and address be sure to just give them your cell phone number other than your home phone number. You will also want to avoid entering in any contest that asks for very personal information such as your social security number
